Aurora Mental Health Center invites the Community to take part in Holiday Giving with their Holiday Food and Gift Basket Program

It is that time of year, when we share in the spirit of the season!
Aurora Mental Health Center would like to invite you to take part in this years Holiday Food and Gift Basket program for those in need within our community. Take time this year to remember what the season is all about. Help a family less fortunate than yours and discover the joy that comes from giving!

Since 1997, Aurora Mental Health Center has provided holiday food and gift baskets to families who have been nominated by their case manager based on their need and lack of other local support. Last year, through community support from people like you, we were able to provide holiday food and gift baskets to 535 families. This year during these tough economic times, we expect more families to require assistance this holiday season and we need your help to meet this need.

With your donation, we will be able to provide families with the holiday meal and gift that every family deserves. We have three ways in which you can give:

Adopt a Family: Thanksgiving
Adopt a family for Thanksgiving and pledge to purchase the food needed for a Thanksgiving meal. Baskets are due 11/19/2008

Adopt a Family: December Holidays
Adopt a family for the December Holidays and pledge to purchase food needed for a holiday meal and 1 gift per family member. Baskets are due 12/17/08.

Donation for Baskets and Gifts
No time to shop? Give a donation of an amount of your choosing to assist us in providing holiday baskets for needy families. You may donate through the donation link on this site, just write "Holiday Basket" in the Comments Box on the Donation Form.

Please consider making the Aurora Mental Health Center part of your holiday giving. If you or someone you know would be interested in supporting this heartwarming program by providing a food and gift basket for a family in need, making a monetary donation, or volunteering, please contact Tawney Bass at 303-617-2361.
