Internship Programs: Details
Clinical Placements for Masters or Doctoral Students
Students in Masters or Doctoral programs in psychology, counseling, or social work can be considered for the following clinical placements:
- Outpatient therapist working with children or adults
- Art therapist working with children or adults
- Therapist in school-based program
- Outpatient therapist on intensive team working with children and families
- Outpatient therapist on intensive team working with children or adults who have a developmental disability and a mental illness
- Group therapist working with adults who are court-ordered to receive treatment for domestic violence or substance abuse
Undergraduate students majoring in psychology, social work, or related fields can be considered for the following placements:
- Case manager working with adults or children
- Classroom assistant in a day-treatment school setting
- Public relations or fundraising assistant
- Accounting or administrative assistant
- Computer networking and database
- Research assistant
The Bilingual Intern Program is available as a paid option to graduate students in psychology, counseling, or social work who are fluent in English and Spanish. Students accepted into the program will have the opportunity to work with children, families, or adults, and will receive additional support and supervision working with the Latino community. This program provides a stipend of up to $1,000 per month for eligible students.
