Internship Programs
Offering one of the best internship programs in the country, we provide outstanding clinical training to future mental health professionals. Internship opportunities are available to students ranging from undergraduates to doctoral levels pursing studies in psychology, psychiatry, nursing, social work, counseling, business, research, communications, computers, or related fields.
Intern Training Programs
Offering part-time, non-paid placements to all graduate and undergraduate students wanting to gain direct experience in their select field. The majority of internships are between 10 and 20 hours per week and run from fall through spring or summer. Limited summer internships may be available. Services are provided in more than 18 languages. Students who are bilingual in English and one of the other languages are eligible for the Bilingual Internship Program and a monthly prorated stipend. Pre-Doctoral, APA-Accredited Psychology Internship Program
Aurora MHC offers interns an excellent clinical experience in which they are trained in the assessment and treatment of a diverse range of mental health problems with a client population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. This is a one-year, full-time, paid, pre-doctoral internship accredited by the American Psychological Association. The program accepts two interns who prefer adult oriented primary placement and two interns who prefer a child/family primary placement. The internship is located in Aurora, Colorado, which is part of the Denver metropolitan area.
