If you don’t see your question listed, call 303-617-2300 for assistance.

How do I schedule an appointment?
Call 303-617-2300 to schedule an appointment for yourself or for someone else.
What can I expect when I call?

We understand that explaining your situation can be uncomfortable. Helping you is our top priority and we will make the experience as reassuring and stress-free as possible.

Our client representatives may ask you questions like:

  • What prompted you to call today?
  • How long has this been going on?
  • Have you ever gotten treatment for this before?
  • Was the previous treatment helpful?
What if I don’t speak English?

Call 303-617-2300 and state the language you speak (for example: Spanish, Nepali, Chinese). We will connect you with a client representative who speaks your language and can answer your questions or help you schedule an appointment.

Can I just walk-in and see a mental health professional?

Yes, although we encourage you to call 303-617-2300 first to ensure that we best serve you at that time.

Please bring your photo ID and your insurance card. If you are without insurance, we offer a sliding scale for payment. To determine if you qualify, bring your most recent paystub or most recent 2 months of bank statements to establish proof of income. We also accept major credit cards for payment.

If you are bringing a child, you will be asked to attest that you have authorization for medical decision-making for the child. Please bring any court documents or other legal authorization if this situation applies to your family.

If possible, please fill out new patient forms provided here before you arrive.

Where is Aurora Mental Health Center located and what are the hours?

Our Connect2Care Clinic is located in north Aurora at 791 Chambers Road.

The hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. We recommend that you arrive at least two hours prior to our closing to allow providers with the time to help you effectively.

You can complete a mental health screening over the phone by calling 303-617-2300, then choosing the Connect2Care option.

Can I receive treatment even if I don't have insurance?

Yes, in nearly all circumstances, we can work with you. We do not deny services to anyone because of inability to pay.

When is payment due for services provided?

Your copay is due at the time of treatment.

If I miss a scheduled appointment, do I have to pay for it?

There is no charge if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Otherwise, you will be charged a $30 no-show fee.

What if I have more questions about services and insurance coverage?

Call 303-617-2300 and we will connect you with the staff person who can help.

How old do I have to be to sign up for my own therapy?

In Colorado, minors 15 and older can consent to their own treatment without their parents being present. We do request that parents are present for children ages 15-18 if their treatment involves prescription medication.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please visit our Walk-in Crisis Clinic located at 2206 Victor Street in Aurora, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
