Clients Served: Adults clients who have both a severe and persistent mental illness and a developmental disability, including intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
Description of Services Offered: Clinical assessments and consultation, individual and group therapy, crisis drop-in and intervention, case management, payee-ship to manage finances, psycho-education, recreation therapy, and horticulture therapy for socialization support.
Array of Services Provided: In addition to therapy services, ACLS team members function to provide client advocacy with the goal of empowering our clients to make safe, good decisions about their lives. We provide case management to assist clients with signing up for services from developmental/intellectual disability service agencies. Case management services are provided for coordination and collaboration with community partners, primary care providers, and psychiatrists.
Staffing: Our clinical team includes master level therapists, a bachelor level care coordinator, and administrative support staff.

We are driven to provide effective, culturally sensitive care and services for the intellectually and/or developmentally disabled adult.
Student Placements Available and Requirements: Placement available for a 2nd or 3rd year doctoral psychology students. Placement available for MSW students with preference for internship ready/2nd year.
Hours of service are 8:30am to 5:00pm during the week.
Students must be available at least two days and 16 hours per week for a minimum of 9 months.
