Aurora Mental Health Center is proud to partner with FEMA and present the Colorado Spirt Crisis Counseling Program, providing support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Older Adults have been especially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As of August 2020, over 78% of COVID-19 deaths occurred in individuals 65 years old and older (CDC.gov). Due to the higher risk of severe illness and/or death, many older adults have endured and continue to endure isolation, strict social distancing protocols, grief and loss of loved ones, increased fear and anxiety, disruption in routine, and many other direct and indirect impacts of COVID-19.
Please reach out to our free and confidential Colorado Spirit COVID Support Line to be connected with our Senior Care Specialist, Dr. Kristin Pyne.
Our support line is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
