One in five U.S. adults experience mental illness and one in six U.S. youths aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year. As the population of Aurora and the surrounding area grows, the need for quality mental health care grows with it. For over 50 years, Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) has been dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care to the diverse community of Aurora, and we continue to expand our services.

AMHR offers a wide range of proactive programs and services that meet all people where they are, regardless of their age, diagnosis, or socioeconomic background. We served over 18,000 clients in 2024 alone!

Quote from Anonymous Client saying "You've really helped me believe in myself by pushing me to do things I thought I couldn't, encouraging me, and being my cheerleader. I never thought I would be able to do this stuff."
