Substance Use Disorder often referred to as “addiction,” affects more than 20 million Americans over the age of 12. While those statistics are important, we know that people are more than numbers. We understand that each person is unique and requires a recovery plan custom-tailored to their needs. With over 42 years of serving our community, Aurora Mental Health Center has developed evidence-based services that help people achieve their recovery goals.
These services are customized for each person’s recovery needs. Services may include individual therapy sessions, group therapy sessions, and the development of skills and techniques for sober living.
Group and individual therapy sessions focused on strategies that promote recovery and accountability.
Designed for individuals 12-17 years old. Teens will engage in one-on-one, group, and family therapy sessions.
Gender-responsive treatment for women.
Family members and significant others are important to recovery. Family and couple’s therapy creates a healthy environment for open and honest communication.
Classes and therapy sessions designed for those convicted of a DUI. We offer Level I and Level II Education and Level II Therapy.
Substance use screening is available to help determine if a specific substance is present in an individual’s system.
Evaluations are designed to establish the presence or absence of a diagnosable substance use issue. The evaluation results will also determine the appropriate type of treatment needed.
These inpatient services are for adults 18 years or older who are intoxicated or in withdrawal. We provide with a safe place to detox, recover, and explore treatment options.
